Plumi – create your own YouTube style video sharing site
Plumi is a free video sharing content management system based on Plone CMS and produced by the Asia-Pacific based company EngageMedia. It allow you to create your own sophisticated video sharing site and community by adding it to an your existing Plone instance.
It includes a sophisticated publishing workflow, site-wide, subject based and submitter-based vodcasting, easy to upload video in any format (over http), server-side flash/ogg video transcoding and embedding playback using transcode deamon, large file uploading via FTP, Custom templates for browsing videos, support for HTML5 video tag, Automatic thumbnail and duration extraction from the video and a range of other useful features. You can also utilize many of Plone’s other built in features including news, events, comments and user profiles.
Plumi is a community based free video sharing content management system release under Creative Commons and GNU Free Documentation License and the ability to add your own custom licenses.
