AbiWord is an open source cross platform award winning word processing program similar to Microsoft® Word. it suitable for all kind of word processing tasks such as typing papers, reports, letters, memos and so many.

With AbiWord, User can collaborate with multiple people on one document at the same time. It is tightly integrated with the AbiCollab.net web service, which lets you store documents online, allows easy document sharing with your friends, and performs format conversions on the fly. The goal of the project was the development of a cross-platform, Open Source office suite beginning with AbiWord, the project’s word processor.
